The Practi-Albuterol Sulfate 0.083% Nebules simulates 2.5 mg/3 mL of Albuterol Sulfate 0.083% (Proventil®), a bronchodilator in a nebulizer. Albuterol comes as a liquid solution that is to be inhaled by the patient's mouth using a special nebulizer. This product is thus designed to safely teach this skill using with any task trainer or manikin that accepts distilled water. Users/practitioners can also practice dosage calculations to understand the different dosages for adults versus pediatrics.
