The Pediatric Emergency Scenarios for Prehospital Professionals is a set of 6 scenarios that are based on the principles from the Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) program. The scenarios are designed to teach prehospital professionals the knowledge and confidence they need to assess and manage the ill or injured child and to train an organized team approach to the emergent situation.
The scenarios present realistic case-based emergency situations and can be used as part of a traditional PEPP course or as part of any course or program aimed at teaching pediatric life support to prehospital providers
The scenarios are developed by expert authors from the AAP and are made for use with the SimJunior Simulator operated by LLEAP or SimPad.
