Position Overview:  We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under his or her control. In addition this position will assist the Finance Manager with reconciliations and other schedules for US 3B Companies.  Position is onsite in our office located in Tucker, Georgia just outside of Atlanta.  Only local candidates should apply, no relocation assistance will be provided.
 
 Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Process customer payments by recording cash, checks and credit card transactions.
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Review AR aging to ensure compliance
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
  • Perform credit checks for new and existing customers
  • Process credit card payments
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Manage AR aging
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally
  • Assist with month-end closing
  • Perform special projects as assigned by management
Education and Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of accounts receivable and general accounting experience

  • Order processing and order management from initial customer contact to leaving our warehouse.
  • Answering phones, emails, faxes, and online chats while taking care of the customer’s order and customer service needs
