Founded in 1969 by Dr. Abe Ravin, M.D., FACC, Cardionics has been a pioneer in auscultation training and medical education. Dr. Ravin, a renowned cardiologist and professor of clinical medicine at the University of Colorado in Denver, developed the first auscultation simulator, enabling students to identify heart and lung sounds without a patient. His contributions to medical education earned him the prestigious “Gifted Teacher Award” from the American College of Cardiology.

In July 2019, Cardionics joined the 3B Scientific Group, a global leader in anatomical models and medical simulation solutions.
