Ultrasonic Doppler device FlowDop200
The ultrasonic Doppler device FlowDop200 generates transmission signals with adjustable frequencies of 1, 2, 4 or 8 MHz, which are transmitted as ultrasonic waves by the connected transducer.
When these waves are reflected or scattered by moving particles or bubbles, they undergo a frequency shift (Doppler effect). The reflected or scattered ultrasonic waves are registered and evaluated by the device.
In addition, the measurement signal can be output as a sound signal via the integrated loudspeaker. The volume of the sound signal is a measure of the amplitude of the recorded signal and its frequency is a measure of the speed of the spreaders.
The measuring signal can be adapted to the respective measuring task by means of adjustable amplification, transmission power and measuring depth. The measurement data can be read out and recorded for detailed evaluation on the computer via a USB interface.
Software
________________________________________
With the FlowView200 software belonging to the device, the measurement data can be displayed and evaluated on a computer. The device is connected via a USB interface. During the measurement, the software displays the current Doppler signal. The evaluation takes place by a transformation into the frequency space with the help of the Fourier transformation. The mean and maximum frequency shifts are determined from the spectrum. The corresponding frequencies or the velocities and flux values calculated from them are displayed on the screen as values or time curves. In addition, the energy content of the signal is displayed.
Further evaluation functions are the representation of the spectrum with color-coded intensities over the time domain or the investigation of the pulsatility of the flow.
