The microphone probe (long), like the microphone probe (short) (item no: 4008308), is part of experiments to determine the speed of sound (item no: 8000567 and 8000569). It is also a required accessory for the Kundt's Tube E (item no: 1017339). Both microphone probes are used with the microsecond counter and the microphone box.

Product Information: ..
The microphone probe is intended for measuring changes in sound pressure inside Kundt’s tube E. It consists of a thin metal tube with a transducer (miniature microphone) at the front end. A thread is provided for attachment of the probe disc of the Kundt’s tube E.
