Healthcare professionals must learn to catheterise a patient. This technique will be facilitated and consequently more comfortable for the patient when the students have practiced on this catheterisation simulator. Students will become more comfortable with this basic nursing procedure once they have practiced on a male catheterisation simulator. While the procedure is considered fundamental in nursing studies, the delicacy and intricacy of the procedure mandates training on a simulator to ensure patient comfort and student confidence.
