Pediatric Basic Life Support training focuses on the emergency interventions on children aged a few months to 18 years old. The BLS simulators are differentiated by actual age, as the BLS training differs as the child gets older. High quality CPR in children uses set parameters for the frequency and depth of compression and the rhythm of compression and ventilation. These parameters differ from adult BLS and CPR and should therefore be trained separately. 3B Scientific® offers a large variety of pediatric BLS simulators and manikins starting at the age one year.
