The Blood Pumping System Deluxe is a Hyper-Realistic® medical training system designed to simulate life-threatening human hemorrhage in conjunction with simulated injury patients. This advanced model incorporates key improvements, including pulsing "blood" flow, adjustable blood pressure, narrower blood lines with positive "quick" connectors for enhanced flow control and realism, and a manual backup on/off switch. The BPS-4 also features external access to the pump fuse, a stylish new shell design, and is compatible with the Advanced Surgical Skills Packages for use with the STOPS Surgical Cut Suit. The BPS-4 remains an innovative component to patient-worn bleeding simulations, compactly carried in a small day pack. It is self-contained and allows for up to four simultaneous bleeds, all controlled by a wireless fob. Each line can be independently adjusted to simulate both venous and arterial bleeds. BPS-4 Deluxe includes two femoral injury sleeves (1 with open fracture/ 1 without fracture, and protective guards), two brachial injury sleeves (1 with open fracture / 1 without fracture, and protective guards), Blast Trousers with bilateral inguinal bleeds, and a blood kit containing 2.5 gallons of blood concentrate that produces up to 12.5 gallons of artificial blood.
