이 모형에는 대퇴골과 엉덩이뼈(장골외각, 요각, 관골, 무명골)의 근육 기시와 정지 뿐만 아니라 남성의 오른쪽 엉덩이 관절(고관절) 개별 부위 근육들도 표현되어 있습니다. 교육 목적으로, 엉덩이 관절 근육들의 기시와 정지 부분은 색으로 표시되어 있습니다. (근육 기시 = 빨강; 근육 정지 = 파랑). 엉덩이 근육들은 기시 및 정지의 해당 부위들에 장착되었으며, 관골의 근육은 엉덩이 관절에서 탈부착이 가능합니다. 엉덩이 관절과 탈착 가능한 근육을 활용하면 엉덩이 뼈 해부학 구조를 연구가 그만큼 수월해 집니다. 근육계와 골격계의 관계가 이 모형에 명확하게 표현됩니다.

Represented here is the right hip joint of a male with the individual muscles as well as the muscle origins and insertions on the femur and the hip bone. For educational purposes, the origin and insertion areas of the muscles have been raised and presented in color (muscle origin = red; muscle insertion = blue) on the hip joint. The hip muscles have been mounted on their corresponding regions of origin and insertion and are removable from the hip joint for a different perspective.
