The vibration generator is used to generate mechanical waves for demonstrating and studying oscillations and resonances in school education and training.

Product Information: ..
The vibration generator consists of a speaker housed in a sturdy plastic case. Mounted on the speaker is a mounting pin with a 4-mm jack for transmitting vibrations. On the back of the device, there is a mount for tripod rods (up to 8 mm Ø) for demonstrating standing waves in a coil spring.
The generator is equipped with overload protection.

On the vibration generator, springs, Chladni plates, rubber bands, resonance wires, and other accessories can be attached and set into vibration. These accessories can be purchased separately at 3B Scientific (see "recommended products" on this page).

To generate the oscillations, a function generator with a power output is needed (e.g., the function generator FG 100; see "Required" on this page).
