Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) manikins and simulators are used to train pediatric healthcare professional in the core competencies and skills necessary to effectively manage pediatric emergencies and stabilize pre-hospital and in-hospital patients. The skills taught in PALS include the initial evaluation, respiratory or airway management, defibrillation, intraosseous access, and resuscitation.
